Hi !
TA-RAAAA!!!! A few have asked to hear some of my older songs. I am calling this spot, "The Vault" !! I will update from time to time so keep checking in !
This one is called, "Madeline". I was driving down the Taconic Parkway one day and this melody came into my head. The chorus came first and I don't remember if my sister phoned me or what, but I found myself singing her name! And it fit!
I recorded this version in Hannover (HANGOVER!) Germany. Hope you like it !!

I got an email from a friend (YOU know who you ARE!!) ;-) who asked me why I write such sad songs??? Well, oddly enough, reading THAT email was the inspiration to write yet ANOTHER one!!
I had no musicians around, so I jumped into Garageband and was able to compose this entire song, using only Garageband "instruments". I surprised myself on this one. I was able to change guitar sounds into orchestral strings and took snippets of other loops and floated them around. I had a lot of fun with this one, even if it is ANOTHER sad song !!!

Some of you may have already heard this one. I had started writing this one in 2001 and had a rather dodgy demo just sitting in my computer. My longtime friend, Fred Weinberg, heard it and told me someone wanted to use it in a film he was directing called, "South Beach Dreams". Trouble with the demo was.......it was dodgy! I had a week to put together a more presentable version. I was in Vegas at the time this was all happening.....with not a lot of time to spare. THANKFULLY, I was surrounded by a lot of musical talent from the We Will Rock You show and I made the deadline!!! With time to spare!!! A zillion thank you's to Paul for his playing, his studio, and his time. The song made it to the movie. The MOVIE? Well, it made it STRAIGHT to DVD....!!!
