‘All Of Me’ is the first single to be released from Meat Loaf’s new album ‘Hell In A Handbasket’. Meat Loaf describes it as the most personal record I’ve ever made.

After 40 years and selling over 100 million records, among them one of the biggest album of all time, Meat Loaf has been a larger than life presence in music with his unique songs and stellar collaborations. Bat Out of Hell sold over 2.1 million copiues in the UK and has been awarded Platinum status 23 times.

Produced by Paul Crook, Hell In A Handbasket once again features some interesting collaborations such as Public Enemy’s Chuck D as well as Lil Jon, who appeared in Celebrity Apprentice alongside Meat Loaf. And certainly, no album would be complete without long time duet partner Patti Russo who features on two songs: ‘Our Love And Our Souls’ and a version of The Mammas and The Pappas classic ‘California Dreamin’.

Meat Loaf — All of Me

I caught a glimpse of myself today
Wasn’t a pretty picture, I must say
Well, I threw a dagger of poison words straight for my heart
Was it deserved?
Well, it’s too late to make up some excuse and say it wasn’t me
Well, what’s the use?
Oh, you’ve seen too much
Ooh, let me introduce you to

This is my anger
This is my shame
These are my insecurities, that I can’t explain
This is my fortress, crumbling ‘round my feet
Take a good look, baby: this is all of me

They found that nerve deep in my soul
Poised and ready to explode
And no one else on earth but you could get close enough
To light that fuse
And you crawled up underneath my skin
Crept now through my veins and through my head
Ooh, you got so deep
You might as well get to know the rest of me

This is my anger
This is my shame
These are my insecurities, that I can’t explain
This is my fortress, crumbling ‘round my feet
Take a good look, baby: this is all of me

We all live under the same roof
We go by the same name

It saddens me to think that I cannot turn back the hands of time

This is my anger
This is my shame
These are my insecurities, that I can’t explain
This is my fortress, crumbling ‘round my feet
Take a good look, baby—

This is my anger
These are my doubts
These are my emotions, all strung out
This is my fortress, crumbling ‘round my feet
Take a good look baby: this is all—this is all of me

This is all of me
Oh, this is all of me
This is all of me....
