In 1991 Iron Prostate released a 7" single on Vital Records, "Bring Me the Head of Jerry Garcia". The single version was produced by George Tabb and Jim Fourniadis. The song was also intended for inclusion on their second album, produced by Jim Steinman. But the band dissolved in the midst of rancorous sessions with, of all people, Meat Loaf producer Jim Steinman. The demo of "Jerry Garcia" is available through guitarist George Tabb's website.

I dunno...but he produced one of my songs called "Bring Me The Head Of Jerry Garcia" now up on my site with plenty of other tunes...one produced by Don Fury. Funny thing about the Garcia song...Steinman brought in the cast from "Cats" to sing "Dead! Head! Dead! Head!" Most expensive demo I ever did. George Tabb
